Rise Vallejo’s Early Education and Community Resource Center will support the diverse and vibrant Vallejo community, promoting collective work to address the root causes of Vallejo’s unique challenges and build equitable access for all to sustain a healthy, thriving life.
Rise Vallejo was created by First 5 Solano, Child Start, and the Solano County Office of Education
Owner of the Facility
Child Start will operate 5 classrooms, enrolling all eligible children in the high-quality Head Start Program at no cost. They will lease the remaining classrooms to private childcare and early education providers.
Lead Facilitator
First 5 Solano will continue to build partners to support the project (fundraising is ongoing for the community resource center) and develop policies and procedures in collaboration with Child Start.
Support Provider
The Solano County Office of Education will provide support for onsite early learning and care programs, including coaching and professional learning related to inclusive practices and children’s socio-emotional learning.
